Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 2026

Brown Hound Group Limited wants www.wearebrownhound.com to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible.

We are working to make the website clear, understandable and accessible across different devices, browsers and ways of navigating.

Using this website

We aim to make it possible for visitors to:

  • zoom text without losing access to content;

  • navigate the website using a keyboard;

  • understand content through clear headings and logical page structure;

  • identify links and controls clearly;

  • read text with sufficient colour contrast;

  • use the website on desktop, tablet and mobile devices;

  • understand meaningful images through alternative text where appropriate; and

  • access content without relying solely on colour, motion or sound.

The website is built using Wix.

Accessibility standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference when designing and maintaining the website.

Our current aim is to work towards the relevant principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including making content:

  • perceivable;

  • operable;

  • understandable; and

  • robust.

We have not yet commissioned a full independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not currently claim that every part of the website is fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Known limitations

As the website is newly developed and continues to evolve, there may be areas that require further improvement.

Potential limitations may include:

  • third-party content or functionality provided through Wix or external services;

  • older downloadable documents that have not been fully optimised for assistive technology;

  • decorative or complex graphics that may be difficult to interpret;

  • occasional colour, scaling or focus-order issues at particular screen sizes; and

  • embedded content that is outside our direct control.

We will review and improve these areas as they are identified.

Images and visual content

We aim to provide meaningful alternative text for images that communicate information.

Images that are purely decorative may have empty alternative text so that screen readers can ignore them.

Where a diagram or visual framework contains important information, we aim to provide an equivalent written explanation.

Downloads and documents

Documents made available through the website may include PDF or presentation formats.

We aim to make new public-facing documents accessible where reasonably possible. Where a document is not accessible, you may contact us to request the information in another reasonable format.

Motion and animation

We aim to avoid unnecessary animation or motion that interferes with reading or navigation.

Where movement is used, it should not contain rapid flashing content.

Feedback and alternative formats

Please tell us if:

  • you experience an accessibility problem;

  • you cannot access particular content;

  • you need information in another format; or

  • you have a suggestion for improving the website.

Contact: hello@wearebrownhound.com

Please include:

  • the page or content affected;

  • the problem you experienced;

  • the device or browser used, where helpful; and

  • the format or adjustment you need.

We will review your request and aim to respond within a reasonable period.

Ongoing improvement

We will review accessibility when:

  • significant website changes are made;

  • new content or functionality is introduced;

  • issues are reported; or

  • relevant standards and guidance change.

This statement will be updated as the website develops and accessibility testing is completed.
